Quaint place with very amiable and fantastically friendly staff. Fairly quiet area, central location so close to the church and dog, the Lake and the Church of the Good Shepherd and the supermarket and cafes.

Central location was a plus. I was happy to find Kohan Restaurant, it was just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel and served nice food. I loved the room with single beds. A lounge and a living area were included.

The staff was absolutely friendly and exceptional. I truly enjoyed the room, the bed was very comfy. A microwave oven, coffee & tea making machines, and a refrigerator were available.

Convenient location near lake and shops. Warm, comfortable room with morning sun. Equipped kitchen, although drawers could use cleaning. Peaceful setting amongst trees with beautiful mountain view.

The very pleasant staff. The quietness , comfort and beauty of the natural surroundings. Parking was easy.
The view from the Honeymoon suite wasnt very good. However the very excellent staff made us feel very welcome. Ideally, there could also be free internet access and laundry facilities. However these were not an issue for us.

Location: the hotel was very close to restaurants in Tekapo and historic church as well as attraction. Spent our evenings in nearby Tin Plate Kitchen & Bar, especially when it was cold wet outside.

Also, location was magnificent and lovely, just a pleasant stroll away from The Church of the Good Shepherd. Studio suite accommodated us perfectly. The staff were very friendly, took care of us during 1 day stay.

The hotel offered great value for money, especially considering the expensive nature of accommodation in the area. The beautiful gardens and peaceful setting amongst the trees provided a feeling of isolation and tranquility. Additionally, the staff were friendly and the basic amenities, including the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms with separate eating areas, were highly appreciated.
All was satisfactory, no improvements necessary.
